This blanket was one of our first turbo blanket designs.  It was specifically designed to address an issue of spacial constraints in an engine bay.  The blanket tightly wraps around the exhaust side of an internally wastegated T25 or T28 turbocharger and holds heat into the turbo to help spool the turbo earlier.  Because the blanket is flat, it is a perfect option when there is limited space around the turbocharger where a bulkier enclosed blanket may not fit well.

This blanket is a three layer design consisting of a heavy 6 pound density 1/2″ thick ceramic wool inner layer construction that easily handles 2500°F.  This is sandwiched between a high temperature silicone impregnated fiberglass outer layer and a protective stainless steel knitted wire mesh inner layer.  The entire blanket is extremely durable and very well built by hand here in the USA.
