The 1989 – 1998 Dodge Cummins 5.9L Diesel manifold blanket was designed to solve multiple heat and noise issues which are a result of the manifold and turbo placement in the engine bay.

The manifold on a Dodge Cummins 5.9L gets extremely hot and a metal heat shield just doesn’t cut it and wrapping it is nearly impossible… The only option left is to blanket it. Luckily we make a blanket designed specifically for the OEM manifold.

The clamshell design covers both the top and bottom of the manifold and is extremely easy to install with our stainless steel anchor and wire lasing system.

The blanket features 1/2″ thick 6 pound density ceramic mat on the inside allowing it to handle 2500° Fahrenheit direct heat.

The proprietary aluminium bonded pulverized lava rock exterior fabric is made to be durable and handle extremely high temperatures (over 2500°F). The internal alumnized layer also helps to add extra barrier to heat and liquids.

This blanket is designed to retain heat lowering engine bay temperatures and increase turbo spool times.

Arctic Cat 1100CC Turbo Manifold Blanket – Black
The Thermal Zero Arctic Cat 1100CC Turbo Manifold Blanket was designed specifically for the OEM turbo manifold on the Arctic Cat snowmobile.

The blanket utilizes a 2500°F direct heat resistant 6 pound density ceramic layer on the inside of the blanket to make sure no heat gets through. On top of that the ceramic layer is covered with a black high temperature silicone based outer shell. Since vibration is inevitable we have created a more durable design. Our blankets feature a knitted wire mesh inner layer that separates the insulation material from the manifold housing, greatly increasing durability and reducing breakdown.

Installing a Thermal Zero blanket will cut down up to 80% of direct heat emitted from your manifold. In turn this will allow the turbo to spool faster and be more efficient.

Arctic Cat 1100CC Turbo Manifold Blanket – LAVA
The Thermal Zero Arctic Cat 1100CC LAVA Turbo Manifold Blanket was designed specifically for the OEM turbo manifold on the Arctic Cat snowmobile.

The blanket utilizes a 2500°F direct heat resistant 6 pound density ceramic layer on the inside of the blanket to make sure no heat gets through. On top of that the Lava version of the blanket uses our signature aluminized lava jacketing layer on the outside of the blanket further adding to the durability of the blanket and the functionality. The alumnized layer reflects any potential radiant heat that could get through the ceramic layer back into the blanket making the lava blanket one of the most superior blankets on the market.

Installing a Thermal Zero Lava blanket will cut down up to 90% of direct heat emitted from your turbocharger. In turn this will allow the turbo to spool faster and be more efficient.
